Innovative Leggings!

sweetflexx

Sure…these look like regular leggings, but they aren’t!  This is the first time that I have tried any type of wearable tech to boost my workout and it was cool.  I was approached by the founder of Sweetflexx, McCullogh Shriver, to give these leggings a whirl on the Reformer.  He explained that they had resistance bands IN the leggings and that it would increase the intensity of my Pilates session.  I was all in!!!!

These leggings run pretty true to size.  I don’t like things that squeezed my waist, sit too low or ride too high.  I’m happy to report that they fit really good.  They hit my waist at the perfect spot.  They weren’t as tight as compression leggings but they definitely were “holding me in” in all of the right places.  The bands are sewn into the front of the leggings and McCullough was there to make sure that I had them straight and straddling my knee.  They felt REALLY good.  I’ll say that the legging I had on was pretty thick.  I think in the summer I might be a little warm in them.  On the flip side, if I were doing an indoor cycling class, I might enjoy sweating in them!

I gave the leggings a run for their money in a Level Three Reformer class.  It was interesting because I didn’t feel THAT different while I was doing the class.  They felt good though and stayed put while I was moving.  I wasn’t tugging on them during my class.  After I was done with Pilates, I took a short but brisk power walk to see how they felt with that type of activity.  Now I felt them!  It was almost like I was walking against the wind (duh, resistance, Cassie!) and they made the walk a bit tougher.

When I got home and peeled off the Sweetflexx leggings is when I really felt what they had been doing!!!  It was like my legs had been worked.  They almost felt relieved!  I’m giving these two thumbs up.  I think they would be a great addition to my fitness closet for days when I wanted to add a little extra boost to my workout.  BONUS – This product is made in the U.S.A.

P.S.  I was not paid for this review.  I tested the leggings for the day.  I love working with entrepreneurs and start ups to help them test and promote new products!

I bought two pairs and I absolutely love them, I actually wear them daily, I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of both the material and how they were made. They have been the extra support I needed for my knee injury, an added bonus, and now I’m back to jogging and doing jumping jacks. This was the best purchase for my fitness goal I have made in a long time.
